Spirometer Air Next NUVOAIR
The Air Next spirometer by the Swedish company Nuvoair, is designed for measuring Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 second (FEV1) and Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) during forced expiration maneuvers. These measurements, can be used for detecting, assessing, and monitoring diseases affecting lung function.
The Air Next spirometer is a low-cost, personal use device, offering a basic level of control that utilizes Bluetooth technology to connect directly to a smartphone. The Air Next spirometer, operates with iOS and Android devices and connects via Bluetooth. Using the app, users can record measurements for Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) and FEV1 from the comfort of their homes and electronically send the results to their healthcare provider. It is designed to be used as a self-monitoring tool for individuals with respiratory conditions (such as asthma, cystic fibrosis, etc.) and as a wellness product for their health.
The Air Next spirometer is designed for use with disposable one-time-use turbines. FlowMir® turbines are suitable for use with the Air Next spirometer.
Basic Monitoring with Real Spirometry Technology.
The Air Next spirometer is intended for use by healthcare professionals and individuals trained in performing spirometry on patients over 5 years old, weighing over 10 kg, and taller than 110 cm, as well as by adult individuals following appropriate education by their supervising physician. Diagnosis should be made by a physician, and home use is for indicative purposes only.
The intuitive Smart One app is simple yet smart.
By entering the user's age, nationality, weight, height, and gender in the settings menu, the app calculates the target value and sets predefined ranges for your health index. When a user performs an examination, such as Peak Flow, the target value is displayed as motivation. Once the check is completed, the user can record notes about their symptoms, either from a predefined list or by typing them manually. Test results are stored in the app for review or monitoring trends over specific periods.
Basic Features
- At-home Spirometry based on smartphone. A more convenient way for self-monitoring and managing respiratory conditions with measurements of Peak Flow and FEV1.
- Ideal alternative to a conventional flowmeter. Uses the same technology as distinguished medical Spirometers.
- Compliance targets for the patient. User profile information is used to determine a reference point, a value to be set as a target during an examination.
- Results are stored and can be shared. Easily check your progress over time. Easily send test results to a healthcare professional.
