Early diagnosis of malignant melanoma during the examination of skin lesions and moles is vital for the progression of the disease.
The dermatoscope is the easiest and safest solution for the above examination.
As the surface of the skin partially absorbs and refracts the light, we apply the use of a liquid impregnation between the dermoscope and the skin (dermatoscopy oil). Alternatively, polarized light is used to observe stained cells or other structures in the deeper layers of the dermis. There is then the need to use alternative lenses (N contact lens for impregnation and P contact lens for polarization), as some features are more easily recognized when the examination is carried out with oil immersion fluid and some others when it is carried out with polarized light.
The Heine Delta 20T Dermatoscope has come to combine the two techniques in one instrument, with precision optics and the possibility of direct selection between polarized and non-polarized lighting. There is no need to change contact lenses, while contact dermoscopy through an oil immersion lens is possible at any point, allowing the correct examination of the corresponding skin pigmentation lesion to achieve the best possible diagnosis.

• 4 high performance LEDs produce an absolutely homogeneous and brilliant lighting with an excellent color rendering index (CRI > 87). 2 of the LEDs can optionally be turned off for side illumination.
• High-resolution optics with an achromatic 10x to 16x magnification lens system distortion-free across the field and a very large, detailed image.
• Adjustable eyepiece. Independent focus. Correction range – 6 to + 6 dpt.

The product does not come with a power source (battery holder or wall power supply).
