Wound-friendly absorbent patches that constitute of four overlapping layers of different materials, namely a soft silky lining made out of a non-woven material that won't adhere to the wound, absorbent core made of soft cellulose flakes, a thin paper layer for the distribution of the secretions, and a liquid-repellent layer made out of polypropylene and placed on top of the pad for protection against infections.
