This three-dimensional model represents an isolated stomach featuring two dissection windows designed to reveal the rugae and pylorus. In the cardiac region, a small segment of the terminal esophagus is preserved, while a similarly small portion of the proximal duodenum beyond the pyloric sphincter is also included. The larger window within the stomach's body provides a clear view of the fundus and the well-developed rugae on the posterior aspect of the organ wall. The smaller window, situated precisely at the pyloric region, offers an opportunity to observe the thickening of the stomach wall at the pyloric sphincter, which is located just proximal to the commencement of the duodenum.
