Indications (Class 2, 22-32 mmHg) for the highest functional requirements of the skin

• More severe varicosis during pregnancy
• Varicosis with mild oedema
• After superfi cial and deep thrombophlebitis
• After schlerotherapy or surgery to maintain therapeutic success
• Chronic venous insuffi ciency
• After healed venous ulcer in chronic venous insuffi ciency
• DVT to treat symptoms and oedema to prevent or manage manifestations of the post thrombotic syndrome PTS

Size Chart

Method of measurement:

• Measurements should always be taken as early in the morning as possible, when swelling is minimal.
• Measure against the bare skin, not over clothing.
• The measuring system is based on having the foot flat against the floor and the calf or leg at a right angle to the foot.
• Circumference measurements should be taken by pulling the tape around the leg so that it is snug but not constricting.
• cB: Ankle circumference, 3 cm above the hammer (in the thinnest part of the ankle).
• cG: Thigh circumference, at the largest point.
• AG: Length measurements should be taken from the ground up along the contours of the outside of the leg.

Instraction and care

Instructions for the best use of your SIGVARIS product :

• Avoid sharp fingernails and toenails.
• Remove rings before applying.
• Do not cut off lose threads inside the stocking.
• Do not apply oily skin care lotion on your legs before wearing the product.

Care Recommendations:

• Wash daily in a linen bag or wash by hand in cold/lukewarm water using the SIGVARIS Washing Solution
• Hang to dry away from direct heat source
• Do not use fabric softener
• Do not machine dry
• Do not dry clean
• Do not iron

• RAL Cl 1 : 18 - 21 mmHg (light compression)
• RAL Cl 2 : 22 - 32 mmHg (medium compression)
