This 3D model serves as a complementary section to the TW 63 3D model of the right lung hilum in our series and offers a direct contrast to the TW 61 left lung section. Although it exhibits a limited number of distinct features, this 3D model provides an extensive view of the primary structural components of the right lung, spanning from the apex to the base. On its lateral aspect, well-defined oblique and horizontal fissures partition the lung into its three lobes (superior, middle, inferior). The cross-section vividly illustrates the depth of these fissures into the inner regions of the organ. Impressions of the ribs, extending from the apex to the base, have been accentuated. Furthermore, the deeply concave diaphragmatic surface showcased in this section mirrors the pronounced doming of the right hemisphere of the diaphragm in a living organism, attributed to the presence of the underlying liver.
