The RespoSorb® Silicone Border features a transparent silicone border that protects the skin around the wound and is designed to keep the wound area visible. It can be cut to facilitate application. Additionally, the RespoSorb® Silicone Border includes a backing film that is waterproof, breathable, and provides protection against bacteria and viruses.

The combination of cellulose fluff and superabsorbent particles (SAP) makes the RespoSorb® Silicone Border particularly suitable for treating heavily exuding wounds, both acute and chronic.

• Highly absorbent, wound-friendly dressings with a high-capacity superabsorbent core surrounded by non-woven material for optimal fluid distribution.
• Hydrophobic, air-permeable, special non-woven material on the top side of the dressing for protection against infections, with a green color to avoid placement errors.
• The outer non-woven two-layer covering, soft like silk, does not stick to the wound and immediately directs exudates to the absorbent layer through capillary action.
• Soft and air-permeable, with excellent flexibility and high impact protection.

They are indicated for the treatment of heavily exuding wounds in all areas of medicine, especially for example in surgical wounds, lymphatic-dependent wounds, leg ulcers, and ulcerated tumors. They are also suitable as wound dressings under compression bandages.
