Successful Integration Effective on 8 July 2016, Weinmann Geräte für Medizin GmbH + Co. KG will be known as Löwenstein Medical Technology GmbH + Co. KG with headquarters in Hamburg. Weinmann, the manufacturer of high-quality medical products for respiratory homecare, has been a part of the Löwenstein Group, based in Bad Ems, Germany, for the past three years. The name change and the related modifications to the brand image will make the successful integration of the company more transparent to market participants. The Löwenstein Group is an international player and highly diversified manufacturer and service provider. With concentrations in the fields of:
- anesthesia,
- ventilation,
- neonatology,
- sleep diagnostics
- and respiratory treatment at home.
“The products from Löwenstein Medical Technology ideally supplement our portfolio while significant synergies arise from bundling international sales channels,” said a spokesman for the Group. “Löwenstein Medical Technology will be a cornerstone of our future strategic orientation, as shown by our considerable investment in constructionat the Hamburg site.”
