• A layer of Aquacel Hydrofiber technology, which turns into a gel upon contact with wound exudates, does the following:

2. Interacts with wound exudates to create a cohesive gel, helping to minimize pain during dressing changes.
3. Prevents the lateral spread of wound exudates, protecting the surrounding healthy skin from erosion.
4. Self-adapts by taking the shape of the wound surface it comes into contact with, thereby minimizing gaps where bacteria can accumulate and multiply.
